Sunday

So the Moulin Rouge is pretty pointless to visit. It costs 200 euro for dinner and a show. Paris is kinda like New York City. There are patches of nice areas with sketchy in between. The history is probably fantastic but it's hard to learn when everything is in French and you can't look online cause there's no wi-fi. Before we came we read about so much that I can't even remember the significance of things now. The metro is definitely the easiest way to get around. The bus system is so confusing and from our experience they don't come at the right times.

Last night it was so hot in the studio. We both were sweating. Then later on we woke up to pouring rain! Not a bad way to fall back asleep. It's really overcast today and cold and kinda sprinkling.
Did I already mention about food? The smartest thing to do is go to a market and get things you can eat on the go. That's what we're doing from now on. It's like half the price and we can get exactly what we want. It also helps that we have a fridge. We bought oj, jam, and English muffins for breakfast. And just like in Belgium, you can drink alcohol in public. Picnic in the park anyone?

We're walking (yet again) to the Notre Dame and the Catacombs. At least this is the nicer part of the city. The Notre Dame only took like 10 minutes to get through the line. The Catacombs however are like an hour and they close at 4 (it is 3:00 at the moment). If we don't get in now then we'll come back tomorrow or the day after. Tonight finally we'll go to the top of the Eiffel Tower! The husband of the woman we are renting from is a manager there :) She said he'd help us out! So at 19:00 (7:00pm here 10:00am in AZ) we will be on the Eiffel Tower!

We did make it through the Catacombs. It's row upon town of bones stacked upon each other. You get kind of a creepy feeling as you walk through. There is so much history to the structure and luckily they had information in English! Definitely worth walking through.

Now back onto the metro to the studio! We have a long night ahead of us!
