Yay for sleep!!!

Based on all my posts about sleep... I'm sure by now you get that it's a problem for us. Or should I saw WAS!!!

I used to think sleep training was so mean. But if you do it the right way it can save your life. It was hard the first night and by night 3 Parker was falling asleep on his own at bedtime and only getting up 2-3 times to nurse. We never let him go more than 15 min with crying and even then we worked our way up. During the day he still takes 3 naps and nurses like every 3 hours but man oh man is my life sooo much easier on a schedule!

Also, have I mentioned how smart Parker Hunting is?! We've been working on sign language (just milk and eat for now), he can scoot backwards, hold himself up on all 4s, put his own binky in his mouth, sit up on his own and he is a chatter bug just like me!

Scooting under the couch.

Apparently hating avocados all the sudden.

Heeeey!

Plank baby.

3-4 months

This kid learns new things constantly! He is so amazing! When he's awake he is always happy. He babbles, cuddles, squirms, rolls and is sitting up with some support!

Parker is up still every 2-3 hours at night to eat. I started a sleep schedule for him during the day where he eats every 3 hours instead of on demand. This is helping him sleep so much! I don't know why I was afraid of a schedule to begin with. New mom fail.

I started making baby food for Parker (with the permission of our pediatrician who is awesome) and he loooooves it! Started with avocado and then we tried squash, apples, bananas, sweet potatoes and peas! Its so much fun to see his face when he tries something new.

We try to keep busy during the week going to the public library for story time and swim classes. I am meeting so many really nice moms with babies Parkers age!
